Formidable Vegetable brought in the New Year at Woodford Folk Festival with a bang, joined by none other than the federal Minister for the Arts, Tony Burke, who got up to play a guitar solo in their song ‘Earth People Fair‘ – a song about the permaculture ethics of Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share as well as reconciliation and recognition of First Nations’ connection to Country. Also jumping up for a cameo was TV’s favourite gardener, Costa Georgiadis (of Gardening Australia) who shredded the sax in ‘Grow A Garden’.

With venues packed to breaking-point and raucous mosh-pits of flash-mobbing synchronised dancers, it’s no wonder that the rest of the ‘In Real Life’ tour has nearly sold out all the way down the East coast! With only a few dates left, including the amazing Pangaea Festival in Tasmania, FoVeg will be returning home to WA in early Feb to work on releasing their next album, due out on March 10th. Preorders will be available soon via the band’s Patreon or Bandcamp. Stay tuned!
